HELGEVOLD WORKS FOR WRIGHT COUNTY
Karl Helgevold promised voters that he would work to prepare Wright County for the future through strong leadership, and that is what he has done. He also works hard to fight tax increases by scrutinizing the county budget.
In his second year serving as Wright County Supervisor, Helgevold has found grant money that saved the county 50 percent of equipment replacement costs on a large project, suggested a bidding process that netted the county over 50 thousand dollars in revenue and voted to save on employee costs.
Recently voted Chairman of the Board by his fellow Supervisors, Helgevold has demonstrated leadership and proven his ability to get things done. “Let’s work together to prepare Wright County for the future with better communication and strong leadership.”
"I have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life in Wright County. My passion to make a difference and serve our community is evident in my past endeavors - I have always been active in my city and county."
With 27 years of profitable business ventures, work with non-profit and government agencies, I can bring people together, create strong teams, set specific goals and execute plans. I’m active in the county and keep an open dialogue with citizens. I research options and am well-informed regarding the business of Wright County.
